Certified Control4 Dealer · Greater Houston

A Control4 dealer that programs — not just installs.

Anyone can hang a box on a wall and load the defaults. The difference between equipment and a system is the programming — and that's where we live. We're certified Control4 dealers with a software engineer on staff, serving homes and businesses across Greater Houston. When your system needs to do something off-the-shelf can't, we write the software to make it happen.

What Control4 actually is

One system for the whole property.

Control4 is the brain that ties everything together — lighting, audio, video, climate, security, cameras, access, and shades — into a single, coherent experience you run from an app, a remote, a keypad, or your voice. Instead of a drawer full of remotes and a different app for every device, you get one system that just works, the same way in every room.

It scales from a single great room to an entire estate or a commercial building, and it works with the best hardware in every category — Lutron lighting, premium audio and video, Ubiquiti networking, professional cameras and access control, and the voice assistants you already use, like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. That flexibility is a strength, but it's also why who programs it matters so much. Control4 is only as good as the person configuring it — and that's the whole ballgame.

The difference that matters

Programmers, not just installers.

This is the line that separates shops, and it's worth being blunt about. Most companies that sell Control4 are installers — they mount the gear, load the standard drivers, set up the typical scenes, and leave. That's fine, until your home or business wants to do something the out-of-the-box options don't cover. Then an installer is stuck, because the answer lives in code they can't write.

We're on the other side of that line. Our team programs Control4 at the level most shops outsource — and when a project calls for behavior that doesn't exist off the shelf, we build it.

In house

Certified programming, done by our own team

The programming that makes a system feel effortless — the configuration, the logic, the integrations — is done by our own team, in house. We use proven third-party software when it's the right fit, and we handle the deep work ourselves rather than outsourcing it. That means faster changes, tighter integration, and one team that actually knows your system when you call.

Custom when it counts

The right tool for the job — every time

For most jobs, there's a proven, cost-effective way to get exactly what you need, and that's what we reach for first — no reason to over-engineer, and no reason to run up your bill. But when a project asks for something the usual approaches can't deliver, we have the in-house skill to build it ourselves. Most shops only have the first gear. Having both is what lets us take on the jobs that stop other dealers cold.

That depth is the reason our systems do things others can't — a gate that recognizes your car, a keypad that runs lighting and audio on one wall plate, an automation chain that ties security, cameras, and comfort into a single command. Off-the-shelf stops where our programming begins.

Why it matters

Why an authorized Control4 dealer matters.

Control4 isn't sold at big-box stores or drop-shipped from a website, and that's by design. It's dealer-installed for a reason: the platform is powerful enough that it needs someone who understands it to design, program, and stand behind it. Going with an authorized dealer means real advantages that gray-market gear can't touch:

  • Proper account setup and support. Your system is registered, updatable, and eligible for the manufacturer support and warranty that back it.
  • Design that fits. An authorized dealer designs the system to your home and how you use it — not a generic bill of materials pulled off a shelf.
  • Someone accountable. When something needs tuning or a question comes up, there's a real, certified team that knows your system — not a forum thread and a shrug.
  • Genuine, supported hardware. No gray-market boxes that can't be registered, updated, or warrantied.

Buying Control4 through someone who can't properly program or support it is how good systems end up feeling broken. The dealer is not a formality — the dealer is the product.

New construction & retrofit

Building new, or upgrading what you have.

Control4 fits both paths — and we do both, all the time.

New construction. The best systems are planned in before the drywall goes up. Brought in early, we work alongside your builder and trades to place wiring, keypads, and infrastructure exactly where they belong — so the technology is built into the home, not bolted on after. If you're building, the smartest move is to talk to us at the framing stage. (More on how we work with builders on our new-construction page.)

Retrofit. Already in your home? Control4 was designed to go into existing houses too. We work with what's there — often reusing existing wiring — and add control room by room, so you can start where it matters most and grow from there. You don't need to be building a new home to get a system that feels like it was built in.

After the install

Support that doesn't disappear.

A control system isn't a one-and-done purchase — it's something you live with for years, and it should get better over time, not slowly fall apart. The most common complaint we hear about other companies is the same one every time: they installed it and vanished.

That's not us. We're a call or text away for tuning, adjustments, additions, and service — and because we program in house, we can often make changes quickly and remotely instead of scheduling a truck for every tweak. As your needs change — a new TV, a new room, a new idea — the system grows with you. We build systems we intend to support, for clients we intend to keep.

What it costs

An honest answer about price.

We don't post prices, and here's the honest reason why: a Control4 system is built to the home and the people in it, and a number quoted sight-unseen will burn you. A single-room setup and a whole-property system are wildly different projects — and even two similar homes diverge once the work begins, between what's already wired, the finishes, how you want to use each space, and what's behind the walls. Anyone who quotes a "starting at" price before understanding your project is guessing.

So we do it the honest way. We learn your space and how you want it to work, then give you a clear, detailed proposal — the equipment, the plan, and the price for your project. New-project consultations are always free, and you'll know exactly what you're getting before any work begins.

Let's build you a system that actually does what you want.

Whether you're starting fresh, upgrading, or rescuing a system someone else couldn't finish — we program Control4 the way it's meant to be done. Let's talk about what you want it to do.
