It is hard to explain what a well-programmed home feels like, so here is a working panel instead. Pick a room, tap a scene, and watch it happen. This is the same interface you would be holding.
The panel is a working recreation of the Control4 interface we program. The rooms are illustrations, but every scene shown is something we build.
None of that was a light switch.
Every one of those scenes is a single press that moves several systems at once — lights to a set level, shades to a position, a screen down, a thermostat back. That coordination is the programming, and it is the part that separates a system from a pile of equipment.
It is also why we do that work in house. When your home needs to do something the defaults do not cover, we write it rather than telling you it is not possible.
